Bio

I am a self-taught jewelry artist/metalsmith that has always loved stones and rocks.  The inspirations for most of my designs come from the fabulous colors and textures that I see in the mountains, high desert, ocean and cities that make my home state of Oregon so beautiful and unique.  My creations are mostly made from semi-precious stones, sterling silver, copper, freshwater pearls, crystals and lampworked glass beads from some of my favorite lampwork artists.  I make all of my clasps to make each piece that much more special and love twisting wire into all kinds of cool shapes, and pounding on sheet let's me get rid of a lot of stress in a good way.  I also do custom work so if you have some favorite stones or beads that you would like to incorporate into a special piece of jewelry for yourself or someone special, please email me to discuss your requirements. Born and raised in Portland, I now reside in Molalla, Oregon with my husband J and our two black labs, Cesar and Zeus.  Our kids Blythe and Brandon are grown now and living in Portland.  Cesar and Zeus are the newest additions to our family.  They were purchased after we had to put down out beloved old boys Smoke and Zeppo in 2008 & 2009, and will always be in our hearts.  Zeus and Cesar have some REALLY BIG paws to fill. 

I am also proud to display the SRAJD logo on my website.  SRAJD stands for SELF-REPRESENTING ARTIST JEWELRY DESIGNER and os reserved only for artists who create and sell their own work.  A self-representing artist does not sell any mass produced jewelry.  My designs are all unique and one-of-a-kind.  When you buy from an SRAJD, you are supporting the artist directly, and not the middle man.
